What are some qualities I bring to the board?

Some qualities that I bring to this role are integrity, authenticity, a servant leader mindset, transparency, good communication, relationship building, compassion, and strategic and critical thinking. I believe in doing what is right, even when that is not the easiest choice. As a board member, we are held to a higher standard, and I believe we should lead by example. 

Why do I want to serve on the school board?

As I embark on this journey towards becoming a school board trustee again, I have asked myself this same question. It's a question rooted in my unwavering belief that the heart of Princeton's promise lies in the hands of our children. They embody our legacy, and their triumphs mean the world to me. My genuine enthusiasm for this esteemed responsibility drives me. I am sincerely honored to play a role in nurturing the potential of our young minds, dedicated teachers, support staff, and our vibrant community.

In every endeavor, I strive to offer a voice that embodies honesty, transparency, and the perspectives often sidelined. My profound affection for our district fills me with purpose. The opportunity this platform presents is one for which I am profoundly grateful—a chance to give back, serve, and create positive change. 

I believe that I have a responsibility to address a wide range of issues as a board trustee to ensure the success and well-being of students, staff, and the community. This includes School Safety and Security, Student Achievement, Teacher and Staff Support, Educational Policy and Curriculum, Budget, and Finance.   

My aspiration is to be a beacon of light and inspiration, fostering an environment of encouragement and unity. By assuming the role of an intermediary between our community and the educational system, I aim to champion the needs of both, ensuring that together we build a future that uplifts every individual it touches because our children are truly the future.
